Investing in our Partners

We recently heard from a long-time Orchard supporter when she reached out to let us know that she enjoyed our Hope for Tomorrow mailer from summer 2021. You may recall that the theme of that mailer was prayer, listing specific ways to pray for 8 of our Partners who serve the most vulnerable communities. We were blown away to learn that for the last year, she has been praying for these Partners by name! What a faithful and encouraging community we have supporting the work of Orchard. UPDATE: The Pitch

The finalist have been selected! At the end of July, a selection committee from Dunwoody Baptist Church narrowed down 6 finalists out of 64 applicants who will present their Pitch before a live audience on September 11th for a top grant of $50,000! Every other organization that night will walk away with at least $10,000. Orchard has the privilege of coaching and consulting these non-profit leaders, so they are prepared to make their Pitch! Registration for the event opens on August 15th, so be on the lookout for that!

Strengthen Confidence

In the third quarter, we will be focusing on sharing about the growth and expansion of core leadership and the impact of our program. We will keep a tone that communicates confidence and hopefulness. Our communications objectives will be the following:

  • Communicate about first Orchard Institute cohort and how it is impacting our Partners
  • Strengthen Confidence by introducing/reintroducing the core leadership team of Orchard.
  • Communicate impact by highlighting the number of projects completed by Partners this year.
3rd quarter Key Messages

As we meet potential partners, donors, or consultants it will be important for us to have one voice. This will ensure that people are hearing the same message no matter whom they interact with within Orchard. This quarter will focus on:
